30 Apr Growing: My Pot Plant Won’t Flower
Cannabis plants flower when they receive 12 hours of light and 12 hours of uninterrupted darkness per day. Either your plant is getting too much light or the dark time is being interrupted with light.
You didn’t mention whether your plant was indoors or outdoors but I’m going to assume from the time frame and size that it’s growing outside. If that’s the case, then you need to use the light deprivation technique to cover your plant with a dark tarp for 12 hours per day. If indoors, you need to set your growlight timer to turn off for 12 hours per day.
The indication of red hairs makes me think that your plant is a female. If it was male, you would be seeing tiny spikes sticking out from the nodes where the leaves meet the stalks. Eventually, these spikes will grow into yellow male flowers that resemble tiny bunches of bananas hanging downwards.
